Update – Lyndeborough and Brookline Shootings

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella and State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes announce that authorities are investigating the shooting death of an adult male, which occurred at a residence in Lyndeborough, New Hampshire today. Authorities are also investigating what they believe is a related non-fatal shooting incident of an adult male that occurred in Brookline, New Hampshire this morning. While initial reports indicated this adult male was deceased, subsequent information confirms he is still alive and receiving medical treatment.

As a result of the shooting incidents, the New Hampshire State Police, in conjunction with local and county law enforcement partners, conducted active searches for a person who was believed involved in the incidents. This police activity took place in multiple towns to include Lydeborough, Brookline, Greenfield, Milford, Wilton, and Nashua. At approximately 12:15 p.m., the person authorities were looking for was located, without incident, in Nashua, New Hampshire.

The investigation into the two shooting incidents is active and ongoing. There is no current indication that the public is at risk as a result of the two incidents.
