Theodore Luckey Sentenced to Life in Prison for the Murders of Nathan Cashman and David Hanford

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes, and Bedford Police Chief John J. Bryfonski announce that Theodore Luckey (age 43) of Asbury Park, New Jersey, pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Monday November 7, 2022, in Hillsborough County Superior Court (Northern District) for the murders of Nathan Cashman (age 28) and David Hanford (age 60) on August 21, 2021, at a hotel in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Mr. Luckey pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree murder for purposely causing Mr. Cashman's death, and a second count of first-degree murder for purposely causing Mr. Hanford's death. Both murders occurred on the same night of August 21, 2021. As a result, Mr. Luckey was sentenced to the New Hampshire State Prison for life without the possibility of parole.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant Attorneys General Scott D. Chase and Adam L. Woods of the Criminal Justice Bureau.
