Disclosure of the Officer's Names from the April 9, 2022 Shooting Incident in Derry, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella releases the names of the Derry Police Department officers who were involved in the shooting incident that took place on April 9, 2022, on Driftwood Road in Derry, New Hampshire.

The officers who discharged their firearms during the incident were Lieutenant Michael Muncey (approximately 23 years as a police officer), Officer Victoria Kidd (approximately 11 years as a police officer), and Officer Timothy Underhill (approximately 4 years as a police officer).

The exact circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation. A report regarding whether the use of force was justified will be released once the investigation is completed. No further updates are expected until the report is released.
