Danville, New Hampshire Suspicious Death Investigation

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Executive Major Matthew S. Shapiro, and Danville Police Chief Wade Parsons announce that officials from the Attorney General's Office along with the State Police Major Crimes Unit are at the scene of a suspicious death of an adult female in Danville, NH.

In the late evening of August 3, 2023, Danville police officers responded to a call at a residence on Back Road in Danville. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult female deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. An autopsy has been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. today at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Concord. The identity of the victim is not expected to be released until family members have been notified, and after the completion of the autopsy.
