Autopsy Results in Winchester Homicide

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes, and Winchester Police Chief Erik Josephson, announce that an autopsy was completed today on the body of Timothy Hill, age 72.

The autopsy was conducted by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Mitchell Weinberg. Dr. Weinberg determined that the cause of Mr. Hill's death was a single gunshot wound to the head, and that the manner of his death was homicide.

On July 13, 2022, Keegan Duhaime, age 26, of Winchester, New Hampshire, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder for knowingly causing the death of Mr. Hill by shooting him, and one count of second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of Mr. Hill under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, by shooting him. Both charges allege that the shooting occurred on Saturday, July 9, 2022.

Today, Mr. Duhaime waived his arraignment in the Cheshire County Superior Court and was ordered held without bail.

The charges and allegations against Mr. Duhaime are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
