Update on Unidentified Body Located in Rindge, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher Wagner announce further information concerning the body discovered off of Route 119 in Rindge yesterday afternoon. This afternoon an autopsy was conducted on the deceased by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie V. Duval. The deceased’s identity was not able to be determined after today's autopsy. Dental records will be examined in an effort to make a positive identification. This will take several days to complete.

On July 10, 2018, the Rindge Police Department received a report of a possible body located alongside Route 119 in Rindge. A private citizen jogging in that area made the report to law enforcement. The New Hampshire State Police conducted a search of the area and the deceased was located approximately 20 to 40 feet from the roadside.

A further news release is not anticipated until the deceased’s identity is positively determined or more information becomes available.
