Timothy Verrill Sentenced for Second-Degree Murders of Christine Sullivan and Jenna Pellegrini

Concord, NH – New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark Hall announce that Timothy Verrill (age 41) was sentenced today for his Second-Degree Murders of Christine Sullivan and Jenna Pellegrini on January 27, 2017.  He was also sentenced on five class B felony counts of falsifying physical evidence, arising from his various efforts to conceal and destroy evidence of those murders.  Mr. Verrill was found guilty after trial on April 9, 2024, in Strafford County Superior Court.

Mr. Verrill was given consecutive sentences of 45 years to life on each of the second-degree murder convictions, and an effective consecutive sentence of 3 ½ to 7 years on the falsifying physical evidence charges.

The court’s decision to impose a life sentence reflects the heinous nature of the crimes committed and sends a strong message that such terrible acts have no place in our society,” said Attorney General Formella. “I want to thank our trial team for their diligence and professionalism as well as the members of law enforcement, particularly the members of the Farmington and Dover Police Departments and the New Hampshire State Police who supported the investigation and prosecution of this case. We hope this verdict brings some measure of solace to the loved ones of the victims and reinforces New Hampshire’s trust in the legal system to deliver justice.”
