Thomas Humphrey Sentenced for Second-Degree Murder of Linda Tufts

Concord, NH – New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark Hall, and Goffstown Police Chief Eric Sereno announce that Thomas Humphrey was sentenced today for his Second-Degree Murder of Linda Tufts. He was also sentenced on one class A felony count of Arson. Mr. Humphrey pled guilty to both charges on June 4, 2024, in Hillsborough County Superior Court-Northern District.

Mr. Humphrey was given a sentence of 40 years to life on the second-degree murder conviction, and a consecutive suspended sentence of 5 to 10 years on the arson conviction.
