Scheduled arraignment for Isaiah Rivera-Perez for the murder of Jaden Connor in Manchester, New Hampshire, on July 14, 2020

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Manchester Police Chief Carlo T. Capano announce that Isaiah Rivera-Perez (age 23), who was arrested in Massachusetts last week for the murder of Jaden Connor (age 17), outside Mr. Rivera-Perez's home at 276 Central Street in Manchester on July 14, 2020, waived extradition and earlier today was transported to New Hampshire.

Isaiah Rivera-Perez will remain in custody on the charge of second-degree murder, RSA 630:1-b, for recklessly causing the death of Jaden Connor, under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, by shooting him. Mr. Rivera-Perez is scheduled to be arraigned on that charge by video before the Hillsborough County Superior Court, Northern District, at 11:00 a.m. on August 20.

The charge and allegations are merely accusations, and Isaiah Rivera-Perez is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
