Ongoing Investigation in Madbury, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn, and Madbury Police Chief Joseph McGann announce that an investigation is ongoing in Madbury, New Hampshire.

On Saturday morning, June 21, 2014, the Madbury Police Department received a report from a parent regarding his 18-year old son who was missing from their home in Madbury. The New Hampshire State Police were also notified and joined in the investigation.

On Saturday afternoon, June 21, 2014, a young man's body was discovered in Lebanon, Maine. An autopsy was performed on that man's body today at the Maine Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The cause of death was found to be stab wounds and the manner of death is homicide. A definitive identification of the male victim is expected within the next day or two.

The investigation is ongoing and involves a cooperative effort between New Hampshire and Maine law enforcement officers.
