Officer Involved Shooting

Attorney General Joseph Foster and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Quinn report that they are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. today in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Pursuant to a law enforcement investigation, a Nashua Police Officer became involved in an altercation with a suspect, in which the officer discharged his weapon striking the suspect. Both the officer and suspect sustained injuries during the altercation. At this point both the injuries to the officer and suspect do not appear to be life threatening.

The investigation is ongoing. No further press releases are anticipated tonight.
