Homicide in Rochester, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Rochester Police Chief Michael Allen, announce that additional information is available regarding an investigation into a shooting incident that took place on Sunday, May 4, 2014, in Rochester, New Hampshire.

The State's Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Jennie V. Duval, has completed an autopsy on Richard Dumont, the person who was killed in Rochester on May 4, 2014. Dr. Duval has determined that the cause of Mr. Dumont's death was a gunshot wound to the chest, and the manner of death is homicide.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
