Homicide of Michael Pittman in Manchester on November 3, 2015

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Manchester Police Chief Enoch F. Willard announce that the Manchester Police Department and the Attorney General's Office are investigating a shooting that occurred at 472 Granite Street at approximately 6:20 p.m. last evening. Michael Pittman (age 37) of 472 Granite Street was shot and killed outside his residence. While the investigation is in the initial stages, the facts collected at this time indicate that this homicide was not random. Nonetheless, until the perpetrator(s) is apprehended, the public is reminded to remain vigilant.

Mr. Pittman's autopsy will be conducted today by the Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Thomas A. Andrew.
