Guilty Verdict in State v. Condodemetraky
Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that Stephan Condodemetraky was found guilty by a Rockingham County jury of one Class A felony charge of Theft By Unauthorized Taking. The conviction relates to Mr. Condodemetraky's conduct in his business, Dusty Old Cars.
The jury found that Mr. Condodemetraky exercised unauthorized control over a consignor's money with the purpose to deprive the consignor of that money when Mr. Condodemetraky kept nearly $6,000 from the proceeds of the sale of the victim's car, to which he was not entitled under their contract.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. A Class A felony conviction carries a maximum sentence of 7.5-15 years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
Assistant Attorney General Gregory Albert and Assistant Attorney General John Garrigan of the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau prosecuted this case.
