Delay in the release of videos from the officer involved shooting in Bath, New Hampshire

Attorney General Joseph A. Foster announces that the release of the videos taken from the officers' body cameras, which captured the fatal shooting of Hagen Esty-Lennon (42) in Bath, New Hampshire on July 6, 2015, will not be released today as previously scheduled.

An emergency petition for a preliminary injunction Portable Document Format Symbolwas filed in the Merrimack County Superior Court today asking that the release of the video be delayed. A copy of that request is attached.

In light of the filing of the request for an injunction, the videos will not be released until the issue is resolved by the Court.
