Death Investigation in Lyman, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn announce that an investigation is ongoing in Lyman, New Hampshire.

At approximately 4:51 a.m. this morning, a 911 call was placed from a single-family home on Quebec Road in Lyman. Emergency medical personnel and the New Hampshire State Police responded to the call. Once there, they spoke to the adult male and adult female at the home and learned that their 4-month old infant male son was in medical distress. That child was taken to a local hospital and declared deceased. An autopsy was done on that infant today and the results are still pending.

Another 4-month old infant, a female who is the sister of the deceased infant male, was also in the home when the police arrived. That infant female was found to have serious injuries and is in a hospital at this time.

The circumstances that led to the infant male's death and his sister's injuries are under investigation.
