Contractor Kevin Clague Indicted for Theft of Consumer's Money

Concord, NH – Deputy Attorney General Jane E. Young announces the indictment of Kevin Clague d/b/a Clague's Contracting and Design, LLC, age 39, of Alexandria, Indiana, formerly of New Durham, New Hampshire, for felony theft by unauthorized taking.

The New Hampshire Multicounty Grand Jury indicted Mr. Clague on one Class A felony count of Theft by Unauthorized Taking. The indictment alleges that between September 9, 2019 and July 6, 2020, pursuant to a course of conduct, Mr. Clague obtained or exercised unauthorized control over money of A.B. and J.B., with a purpose to deprive him thereof, and the value of the money exceeded $1,500.

Class A felonies and are punishable by up to 7½-15 years at the New Hampshire State Prison and/or a maximum fine of $4,000 for each charge.

An indictment is merely an accusation, and Mr. Clague is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
