Arrest in Murder of 3-year-old Girl in Nashua, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Nashua Police Chief Andrew Lavoie announce that an arrest has been made in connection with the murder of a 3-year-old girl in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Katlyn Marin (age 25), formerly of 14 Oak Street in Nashua has been arrested and charged with murdering her 3-year-old daughter. The second-degree murder complaint charges Marin with recklessly causing the death of her daughter, Brielle Gage (age 3), under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, by assaulting Brielle multiple times, on or about November 24, 2014, through November 25, 2014.

The defendant's arraignment on the murder charge is expected to take place at 8:15 a.m., on January 5, 2015, at the 9th Circuit – District Division Court in Nashua, New Hampshire.
