Arrest in Connection With Death of Tanya Hall in Manchester, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Manchester Police Chief Carlo T. Capano announce that an arrest has been made in connection with the Saturday, March 2, 2019 death of Tanya Hall (age 34) in Manchester.

Justin Moura (age 34) has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder for recklessly causing the death of Ms. Hall under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by shooting her with a handgun. Mr. Moura's arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Hillsborough Superior Court in Manchester.

An autopsy was conducted on Ms. Hall today by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jennie V. Duval. Dr. Duval determined that the cause of Ms. Hall's death was a gunshot wound to the back, and that the manner of her death was homicide.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations and Mr. Moura is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
