Arlene Clevesy was found dead in a wooded area near Hume Brook (Newton/South Hampton town line) on June 4, 1972. The medical examiner ruled her death as homicide by traumatic asphyxia including drowning. The Cold Case Unit was unaware of this case until 2015, and a review and reinvestigation of the file commenced.
