New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that the autopsies have been completed on Claude Roberts (age 76) and Judith Roberts (age 73). Mr. and Mrs. Roberts were found in their home at 10 Shilah Drive in Derry, New Hampshire on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Mr. Roberts was deceased at the scene and Mrs. Roberts was severely injured but alive. She later died at a hospital in Massachusetts.
The New Hampshire Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined that Mr. Roberts died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head. His manner of death is suicide.
The Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined that Mrs. Roberts died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head. Her manner of death is homicide.
The investigation is still ongoing.
