New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that autopsies have been completed in the Charbonneau case.
New Hampshire’s Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Jennie V. Duval, has determined that Melissa Charbonneau was killed by two gunshot wounds from a rifle. Mrs. Charbonneau suffered one wound to the head and the other to the chest. The manner of death is homicide.
Jonathan Charbonneau died as a result of a single gunshot wound to the head from a rifle. His manner of death is suicide.
