Travis Hood Sentenced on Sale of a Controlled Drug Charges

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Travis Hood, age 30, of Berlin, New Hampshire, has pleaded guilty in the Coos County Superior Court to three felony counts of Sale of a Controlled Drug. The defendant was sentenced to 5 to 15 years in the New Hampshire State Prison on each charge, to run concurrently on each charge, and concurrent to a 15 to 30 year sentence the defendant is presently serving on a related charge out of the Merrimack County Superior Court.

The evidence in this case established that on three occasions in February of 2021, the defendant sold fentanyl in a quantity of 5 grams or more to a confidential informant.

The investigation and resolution of this case was the result of collaborative efforts of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force.
