Jeff Cahill, Senior Assistant Attorney General
Attorney General Joseph A. Foster announces that the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy ("Board") has suspended the pharmacy technician privileges of Amanda Allen, age 25, of Epsom, New Hampshire, effective July 18, 2013.
The Board's action is in response to evidence obtained during an investigation indicating that Ms. Allen on multiple occasions within the past several months has allegedly practiced as a pharmacy technician at the Care Pharmacy of Epsom while impaired from controlled substances.
On July 18, 2013, the Board issued an Order of Emergency Suspension and Notice of Hearing. The order suspended Ms. Allen's pharmacy technician privileges immediately. A Board hearing is currently scheduled for July 24, 2013, for the purpose of determining whether Ms. Allen's privileges will remain suspended during the course of the continuing investigation.
