New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert C. Quinn, Charlestown Police Chief Ed Smith, and Claremont Police Chief Alexander Scott announce that the search for Kelly Robarge that began last week remains active and on-going. Searches will continue throughout the week.
Kelly Robarge was last seen on Thursday, June 27, 2013, in the late morning hours. She has had no communication with family and friends since that time. The investigation has revealed that the circumstances surrounding Kelly Robarge's disappearance are suspicious. There is concern that Kelly Robarge has suffered serious physical injury or death.
The agencies involved in the search include: New Hampshire Fish and Game Search and Rescue and Dive Search teams, the Charlestown Police Department, the Claremont Police Department, the New Hampshire State Police Troop C members, the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit investigators and search team members, Vermont State Police investigators and search team members, members of the FBI, New Hampshire Marine Patrol, New Hampshire State Police Aviation Unit, New Hampshire State Police Troop D K-9 Units, and the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department. The police have been assisted by the civilian search team, New England K-9 Search and Rescue.
The search teams have covered the property at 124 Happy Acres Road in Charlestown, along with other areas of Charlestown, Claremont and Unity. The searches have included rural wooded areas, areas along roadways, in addition to ponds and waterways. Searches have also been ongoing in the border towns of Vermont and along the Connecticut River.
