New Hampshire Attorney General Michael Delaney, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert Quinn, Walpole Police Chief Michael Paquette, and Alstead Police Chief Marcello D'Alessandro announce that Dr. Thomas Andrew, the Chief Medical Examiner for New Hampshire, has completed an autopsy on the body of the suspect in a Vermont armed robbery who was pursued and ultimately shot by police in Walpole, New Hampshire yesterday afternoon. The deceased suspect has been positively identified as Larry Albert Bohannon, who was born in 1961, and whose last known address was in the town of Grafton, New Hampshire.
Dr. Andrew concluded that the cause of Mr. Bohannon's death was gunshot wounds to head, chest, and abdomen. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is continuing and no further information is expected to be released until early next week.
