The Secretary of State and Attorney General's offices announce that they will be holding an informational session at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 2, 2012, to discuss and answer questions about the recent changes to the election laws in New Hampshire. The session will be held at the Department of Justice, 33 Capitol Street, Concord, NH 03301.
Secretary William Gardner and Attorney General Michael Delaney want to ensure that voters are given accurate information about the voting process before they head to the polls on Tuesday, November 6. The objective of the informational session is to make certain that members of the media have a complete and accurate understanding of the recently amended elections laws, including the new Voter ID law. There also will be a discussion about the guidance the State has provided to moderators to minimize voter confusion at the polls. This information should help to enhance the public's understanding of the changes in the law and the issues that they may encounter on Election Day.
