Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that the New Hampshire Board of Medicine ("Board") has suspended the license of Richard J. Keller, M.D. effective September 20, 2012. Dr. Keller most recently practiced medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Board's action is in response to Dr. Keller's September 13, 2012 arrest on federal charges of receiving child pornography.
On September 20, 2012, the Board issued an Emergency Suspension and Notice of Hearing. The order suspended Dr. Keller's license effective immediately. A Board hearing is currently scheduled for October 3, 2012, for the purpose of determining whether Dr. Keller's license will remain suspended during the course of the on-going investigation.
Copies of the Order of Emergency Suspension and Notice of Hearing are available upon request by contacting the New Hampshire Board of Medicine, 2 Industrial Park Drive, Concord, New Hampshire; (603) 271-1205.
