Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that the New Hampshire Board of Dental Examiners ("Board") has suspended the dental license of Gregory A. Tracy, DMD effective August 22, 2012. Dr. Tracy practiced in Goffstown, New Hampshire.

The Board's action is in response to information obtained by the Board indicating that Dr. Tracy had written numerous prescriptions for controlled and non-controlled drugs for his own use and that his use of those drugs may have adversely impacted his ability to practice dentistry.

On August 22, 2012, the Board issued an Order of Emergency Suspension and Notice of Hearing. The order suspended Dr. Tracy's license immediately. A Board hearing is currently scheduled for September 10, 2012, for the purpose of determining whether Dr. Tracy's license will remain suspended during the course of the on-going investigation.
