Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy ("Board") has suspended the pharmacy technician privileges of Dawn M. Jonis, age 53, of Hollis, New Hampshire, effective June 21, 2012.
The Board's action is in response to Ms. Jonis's recent arrest by the Hollis Police Department. Ms. Jonis has been charged with theft by unauthorized taking and possession of narcotics.
On June 21, 2012 the Board issued an Order of Emergency Suspension and Notice of Hearing. The order suspended Ms. Jonis's pharmacy technician privileges immediately. A Board hearing is currently scheduled for June 27, 2012, for the purpose of determining whether Ms. Jonis's privileges will remain suspended during the course of the on-going investigation.
Copies of the Order of Emergency Suspension and Notice of Hearing are available upon request by contacting the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy, 57 Regional Drive, Concord, New Hampshire; (603) 271-2350.
