Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert Quinn, and Greenland Chief Tara Laurent announce that the autopsy of Chief Michael Maloney was completed a short time ago by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Jennie Duval. Dr. Duval concluded that the cause of Chief Maloney's death was a gunshot wound to the head and the manner of death was ruled a homicide. The State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms continue to process the crime scene and investigate the circumstances surrounding Chief Maloney's murder and the injuries to the four Drug Task Force police officers.
It is anticipated that the autopsies of Cullen Mutrie and the female found deceased at 517 Post Road will be conducted at the Medical Examiner's Office tomorrow.
No further press briefings or press releases are anticipated until after the autopsies are completed.
