Attorney General Michael A. Delaney today announced that his office is continuing efforts to reach out to consumers facing financial difficulties with their home loans. As part of that effort, the Attorney General's Office is encouraging banking institutions to hold consumer events for homeowners to meet with banking officials to discuss their mortgage loan and available loan assistance options that may help them avoid foreclosure. Bank of America will be holding several events in March at various locations in New Hampshire for Bank of America customers who would like to discuss their mortgage loan. Bank of America home loan specialists will be available to review individual loan and financial documents, and to discuss options in person with their customers.
