Home Health Aide Indicted for Theft

Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that Tracy Eiserman, age 42, of Northwood, New Hampshire, was indicted by the Hillsborough County Grand Jury on February 16, 2012, for theft by deception for allegedly stealing more than $4,300 from MAS Home Care ("MAS"), a provider of home health aide services to disabled adults. Eiserman, a licensed nursing assistant, allegedly submitted time sheets for 36 days between January 7, 2011, and July 19, 2011, to MAS that falsely represented that she provided home health aide services to a MAS client, when no such services had been provided. In reliance on Eiserman's time sheets, MAS paid Eiserman more than $4,300 in wages, and then billed the New Hampshire Medicaid Program and was paid more than $6,600 for those same services.

The case is being prosecuted by the Medicaid Fraud Unit of the NH Department of Justice.
