Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert Quinn, and Hudson Police Chief Jason Lavoie announce that at approximately 7:35 p.m. on December 2, 2011, members of the Hudson Police Department responded to a residence at Windham Road in Hudson in response to a 911 call for assistance. When police arrived at the premises, they discovered a man lying dead in the home from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim's identity is being withheld pending further notification to family members. An autopsy is scheduled for December 3, 2011.
Police have arrested Christopher Bazar (age 27) in connection with the homicide. It is anticipated that Mr. Bazar will be arraigned on Monday, December 5, 2011, at Nashua District Court on a charge of Manslaughter.
The investigation is still ongoing.
