New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn, and Warner Police Chief William Chandler report that they are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred early this morning at 148 West Main Street, Warner, New Hampshire.
The incident resulted in one death. Another individual sustained minor injuries. Police have not been able to identify the deceased at this time. The deceased appears to be in his twenties and appears to have sustained one gunshot wound to his head. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, January 10, 2011, at the Medical Examiner's Office in Concord. The homeowner, 82 year old, Gordon Smith, sustained minor injuries and is being treated for his injuries.
