New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn, and Gilford Police Chief John E. Markland report that an autopsy has been completed on Roberta Miller. Ms. Miller was found deceased in her home in Gilford on Monday, November 1, 2010.
Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas A. Andrew conducted the autopsy on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. He determined that the cause of Ms. Miller's death was gunshot wounds and the manner of death was homicide.
During the investigation, the body of Ms. Miller's dog was also discovered in her home. An examination revealed that the dog had been shot and killed.
The New Hampshire State Police continues to request that anyone who may have seen Roberta Miller within the past week contact State Police headquarters at (603) 223-4381.
