Attorney General Michael Delaney, Department of Safety Commissioner John Barthelmes, and Kingston Police Chief Donald Briggs report that the remains of a woman found Monday evening in a burned out car in Kingston, New Hampshire, have been identified as belonging to Virginia Fairburn, age 50. Ms. Fairburn's last known address was 23 Page Farm Road in Amesbury, Massachusetts. District Chief Max Schultz of the NH State Fire Marshall's Office reports that the cause of the fire is undetermined but was most likely accidental.
An autopsy was conducted by Chief Medical Examiner Thomas Andrew. The results of that autopsy are pending.
