| What: | New Hampshire Attorney General Michael Delaney will be partnering with Comcast to promote Internet Safety and offer parents useful tools to make their children's online experience a safe one. The briefing on Monday, October 4 from 6:30pm-7:30pm will focus on giving parents and caregivers the tools to create a safe online environment, recognize unhealthy online habits and suggest ways to communicate the need for safety with our children. Attorney General Delaney will also be unveiling the state's new Internet Safety Guide which was recently redesigned, published and distributed to NH's middle school population collaboratively through a partnership with Comcast and through the continuing support of the Department of Education. |

| Background: | October is Child Health Month, which is another reminder to parents to make sure they protect their children online. The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office is committed to keeping our children safe on the Internet, and offers presentations throughout the State to educate parents and teachers on threats from social networking sites, the misuse of digital images, and cyberbullying. |
