New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, Elizabeth Kishbaugh, a former bookkeeper for the St. Joseph's Regional Catholic School in Salem, New Hampshire, pled guilty in Rockingham County Superior Court to one count of theft for her unauthorized taking of approximately $90,000.00 from the school between 2007 and 2009. After hearing arguments from both sides, Judge Kenneth McHugh sentenced Kishbaugh to a period of 2½-8 years at the New Hampshire State Prison, with 18 months of the minimum sentence suspended. In addition, she was ordered to make full restitution to the school, and to provide a copy of any filed income tax returns and forfeit any tax refunds until restitution is paid in full. Her sentence to the New Hampshire State Prison began immediately after the court hearing.
