Apparent Murder/Suicide in Exeter, New Hampshire

Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, Colonel Robert Quinn of the New Hampshire State Police, and Exeter Police Chief Richard Kane, announce that an investigation is ongoing into an apparent murder/suicide in Exeter, New Hampshire.

On Saturday, June 26, 2010, at approximately 3:15 p.m. members of the Exeter Police Department responded to a residence at the Hayes Trailer Park in Exeter in response to a 911 call for assistance. At the residence, police discovered two occupants, William Burke, Sr. (age 67) and his wife Judith Burke (age 66). Both occupants were deceased, and based on the investigation thus far it appears that the deaths resulted during an apparent murder/suicide.
