New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Frederick H. Booth, and Amherst Police Chief Peter Lyon announce that Dr. Thomas Andrew, New Hampshire's Chief Medical Examiner has completed an autopsy on the body of Trina Leonard, age 27, who was killed on Sunday, March 28, 2010, in Amherst.
Dr. Andrew determined that Ms. Leonard's death was caused by two gunshot wounds to the head. Dr. Andrew ruled that the manner of the victim's death was homicide.
Robert Leonard, age 25, of Amherst, New Hampshire was arraigned today on a charge of Second Degree Murder. He was ordered held without bail until his probable cause hearing, which is scheduled for April 7, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Milford District Court.
