Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that a joint investigation by the NH Attorney General's Office, the NH State Police, and the Carroll County Sheriff's Office led to the arrest of:
Jonathan Tanguay (37)
1027 Hurricane Mountain Road
Bartlett, NH
DOB 7/16/71
on Friday, February 19, 2010. Mr. Tanguay has been charged with (4) counts of possession of child sexual abuse images in violation of RSA 649-A:3. Each charge is a Class A Felony punishable by a maximum of 7½ to 15 years in prison. Mr. Tanguay is a Selectmen for the Town of Bartlett, NH.
Mr. Tanguay was arraigned at Conway District Court earlier today and his bail was set at $50,000 cash or corporate surety. A probable cause hearing has been scheduled for March 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.
