New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Frederick H. Booth report that the homicide victim discovered in Sharon, New Hampshire on Saturday, September 19, 2009, has been identified.
Early this afternoon, fingerprint analysis confirmed that the body found in the woods off of Route 123 in Sharon, New Hampshire was that of Eric Fitting, 33 years old, of Fall River, Massachusetts. The identification was made through the combined efforts of the New Hampshire State Police and the Massachusetts State Police.
The New Hampshire State Police continue to investigate Eric Fitting's whereabouts and activities in the weeks before his murder.
