Attorney General Kelly A. Ayotte, Laconia Police Chief Michael Moyer, and Belmont Police Chief Vincent Baiocchetti announce that on December 10, 2008, members of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Drug Task Force arrested:
Carlos Margis (Age 29)

Margis was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell at a residence in Belmont, New Hampshire. This arrest was the result of a month-long investigation into the sales of crack cocaine in the Lakes Region area of New Hampshire. During the course of the investigation approximately three ounces of crack cocaine was seized. The Belmont and Laconia Police Departments assisted the New Hampshire Drug Task Force throughout this successful investigation.
Margis appeared in the Laconia District Court on December 11, 2008, where the court set bail at $100,000.00 cash. Margis is being held at the Belknap County House of Corrections and is scheduled to appear in the Laconia District Court on December 30, 2008, for a probable cause hearing.
