New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly A. Ayotte, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Frederick H. Booth, and New Boston Police Chief Christopher Krejenka announce that an autopsy was conducted earlier today on Jo-Ann Francis by Chief Medical Examiner Thomas Andrew. Dr. Andrew determined that Ms. Francis's death was caused by a stab wound to the neck.

The New Hampshire State Police and the New Boston Police Department are continuing their investigation into Ms. Francis's murder.
