New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly A. Ayotte, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Frederick H. Booth, Rockingham County Attorney James Reams, and Seabrook Police Chief, Patrick D. Manthorn announce that the autopsy for Scott Allen Eaton, victim of the alleged assault on August 2, 2008, in Seabrook, New Hampshire, has been completed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Medical Examiner's Office. At this time, the manner of death has been found to be a homicide. The cause of death is yet to be determined. The Massachusetts Medical Examiner's Office is awaiting additional test results to ascertain the cause of death.

The State Police Major Crime Unit and Seabrook Police Department continue to investigate the case.
