The INVESTIGATIONS SECTION includes: Investigators; Financial Analysts; Civilian staff and assigned police officers from other law enforcement agencies.

These Investigators, Financial Analysts and police officers provide specialized services that include, but are not restricted to: investigations of reported criminal activity; intelligence gathering; fiduciary theft investigations exceeding $50,000; criminal consumer, environmental, charitable and election law violations; public corruption and integrity cases involving criminal activity by public officials including police officers; assistance to other law enforcement agencies; drug trafficking and drug asset forfeiture; theft cases exceeding $100,000 or cross county lines; Medicaid fraud and patient abuse violations; background investigations for Department of Justice personnel; Department of Justice sexual harassment allegations and other investigative functions specifically assigned to the Unit.
