New Hampshire Joins Federal-State Settlement with the Five Largest Mortgage Servicers
The State of New Hampshire has joined with 48 other states and the federal government in a $25 billion settlement with Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, Wells Fargo and GMAC over foreclosure abuse, fraud, and unacceptable nationwide mortgage servicing practices.
The agreement has provided an estimated $82.3 million in direct relief to New Hampshire homeowners and addresses future mortgage loan servicing practices.
