
New Hampshire Joins Federal-State Settlement with the Five Largest Mortgage Servicers
The State of New Hampshire has joined with 48 other states and the federal government in a $25 billion settlement with 5 of the largest banks and mortgage servicers over foreclosure abuse, fraud, and unacceptable nationwide mortgage servicing practices.
The proposed agreement provides an estimated $43.6 million in direct relief to New Hampshire homeowners and addresses future mortgage loan servicing practices.
