The Federal Trade Commission's National Do Not Call Registry is now accepting registrations. You may sign up either by telephone of via the Internet. The website is www.donotcall.gov. The telephone number is 1-888-382-1222 (TTY 1-866-290-4236).

The Bureau recommends that you keep track of any telemarketing calls you receive so that enforcement may occur in the future. The Consumer Bureau has designed a telephone log sheet  for consumers to keep track of any telemarketing calls that they may receive.
